St. Jude (Part 2)

It is deeply humbling to be able to carry on this mission that I believe is God-given and God-inspired.”— Rick Shadyac, Jr.

On our trip to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, we sat down with Rick Shadyac, Jr, the CEO of ALSAC -- the organization that raises funds and awareness for St. Jude. Rick has had a front row seat to the entire history of St. Jude as his late father was a close friend of founder Danny Thomas. Rick tells us about St. Jude’s early role in the fight for racial equality, shares stories of patients who have impacted his life, and explains St. Jude's mission in fighting childhood cancer globally.
